You make a good point, Randy. My issue with long stories is that I have limited time and I want to read and support more than one writer, so I appreciate shorter stories. It doesn't necessarily have to do with whether they're skilled or not, it's just long stories are hard for that reason. That being said, I sometimes enjoy reading and writing the lengthier ones when I have time.
