Writing often requires balance. It works for Ed and me since we have different interests but we still come together enough that we're happy. Whether it's cuddle time, listening to each other's problems, or just enjoying Huey. But there's lots of time we like to be independent, so writing fits for me. I don't have a toddler pulling me in all directions. Although sometimes Huey demands much attention, too.
