When I was severely depressed, the simplest tasks were big victories. I knew that to others, it looked like I wasn't trying, and I know this because they said so, but deep down I knew I was trying, fighting furiously in fact. To take the easy road, I would have done myself in.

I don't doubt you're trying and what's more important is that you are--no matter how small the steps. Whether it's nibbling, showering, or going above and beyond. Just try to keep moving forward as you can. I see almost a month has gone by and you might be in a different place now, but wherever you are, trust it's where you're meant to be in your recovery. : )
