This is frightening. My husband, Ed, was on a ski-doo and riding around with many friends as a young adult. They all stopped for a break. Several went ahead of him before he and a friend set out again. He came to a break in the ice that about five of them had fallen through--Ski-doos and all. Ed nor his buddy couldn't do anything to save them. None of them survived. You dodged a bullet, Lynn.
