Day Twenty-Six prompt: Tell me about your siblings.

I have a pact with my family that I will never write about them without gaining their stamp of approval. This can be difficult when you’re dealing with timelines and an impatient writer (Me) who wants immediate confirmation, so I’ve taken a different approach with this prompt.

First, I’m from a family of two. There’s me and my older brother, and I can’t say enough good things about him. He’s generous, kind, loyal, funny beyond measure, and a gift to me and my family, but to avoid the risk of divulging family secrets if I delve further, instead, I’ve chosen to talk about the sister I never had.

This is an interesting notion because I’ve never thought much about it. Growing up, I always had my beloved dog, Maggie, as my confidant. I never felt I was missing anything by not having another girl in the family. Maybe I enjoyed having the attention of being the youngest and only daughter that much.

So, in the interest of fun. Let’s see what sisters are good for. Let’s assume my fictional sister was older than me, so I could keep my “baby of the family” status.
