Day Twelve prompt: What is a TV series you could watch again and again?

Call me dense, but I’m at a loss how to read this prompt. Does it ask about a series I’ve already seen that I enjoy watching re-runs? I can’t think of one. But if it asks me which series I can watch daily, that’s easy to choose. It’s the Young and the Restless because, well, you know, I love insinuating myself into other people’s lives. And once you catch this drama, your life seems much easier.

I began watching soap operas with my grandmother. I can’t say I absorbed them, but I loved her company. Each episode was only fifteen minutes long back then and ended on a cliffhanger. As I grew, I continued the routine and began watching soap operas independently. The Young and the Restless was one among many, but over the years, it remained constant until I became a mother one day and gave up the luxury. Or was it later in life? I can’t remember. (See my answer to the prompt about memory).
