Thanks, Nancy. My only saving grace was that two days after I found out, my daughter gave birth to my first grandchild and five days after I found out about his death (three days after the birth), Ed had his liver transplant, so I was very distracted. It was crazy. (My niece had her first baby that week as well). It was a whirlwind of emotions.
