Am I back to normal?

Yesterday, I underwent an anesthetic. The homeward-bound paperwork warned me not to make any major decisions for the next eighteen hours or until I felt normal.

This poses me with a great dilemma.

What’s normal? Even more difficult, what’s my normal and have I ever been?

Many would attest that I’m not, to which I’d agree.

I planned to stay off Medium until I was making sense. I have an hour and a half more to go before I’m supposed to decide.

What do you think?

It’s 6:30 a.m., and I want to order a pizza. I want to wake my husband and have a deep conversation about nothing at all.

Do I sound coherent?

There now. I’m feeling sleepy again.

I think it’s best to take the medical advice, go back to bed, and wake up at my “normal” time.
