Sugaring didn’t mean what I thought.

I’ve always had a sweet tooth. So if something mentions sugar, I’m likely a fan.

So, when Groupon mentioned its deal on pelvic sugaring, the ad caught my interest.

Was this a form of kinky sex? I wondered. After that, I needed to know.

For those as naïve as me to the term, pelvic sugaring refers to waxing that uses a sugar mixture to do the trick.

“It’s supposed to be less painful than waxing, and the all natural ingredients of lemon, sugar, and water are supposed to be great for people with sensitive skin.” Source.

It’s been a long while since I’ve purchased a deal, even longer since I went for a body scrub.

Thank you, Groupon, but I think I’ll stick to consuming my sugar intake through fresh fruit and snacks.
