Such is the life of a witness. I can't imagine how difficult it is to lose your freedom this way.

I lay down and dozed instead, but not for long. I’d been confined to the courtroom for the last 24 hours, and I was going stir-crazy. I felt like going to a bar, but the security guard was adamant I wasn’t leaving my room.
