Our almost 8-year-old cat was also just diagnosed with first to second kidney disease but with vomiting, refusal to eat her new food, constipation, malaise, and a very high creatinine count so our experience has been very different and costly. I'm so happy to hear your cat is in minimal discomfort. Our cat seems better at the moment and is on medication, but we're still very anxious about what's to come.
