My Favourite Hopping Animal Comes With a Twist

Day Eight: Your favourite animal that hops or jumps.

I had to look this one up. I can’t decide on my favourite animal, much less one that can hop or jump. While researching, I found a few options that tickled my fancy, and then it came to me. My favourite animal that has these traits is a “gimme pig.”

You heard me right.

According to my mother, a gimme pig is someone who says gimme all the time. So that adorable little jumping, tree-climbing, icing-faced boy was my brother. And the story goes like this.

My mother noticed my brother asking for things in his cute little voice. “Gimme this, Gimme that.” When she asked him why he asked like that. He answered he was a gimme pig. So that was my brother, always the jokester. And now, half a century later, his sense of humour hasn’t changed. I love my brother, and I love his story.

But I don’t suppose Keeley geared this question at people. So, I dug deeper, and this is what I found.
