Life really does work in mysterious ways. I also developed a phobia of highway driving when my new car at the time was all over the road. I got a lemon that had steering wheel issues at high speed. Twelve years later, the car still works great on general roads, but I stopped driving highways long ago. At least I get to enjoy the city scenery on the drive to wherever I go.

I think finding your life partner was a huge win. Great story.
