RUBY NOIR’S JULY DEEP-THOUGHT PROMPTS
Is Utopia Achievable if We Eradicated World Population as We Know It?
Another Ruby Noir philosophical dilemma.
Ruby Noir 😈’s prompt: My ex, Blue Eyes as some of you know him, had a theory he called 90–10. The theory was that if 90% of humanity was erased (killed, removed, disappeared — however you want to think of it), the leftover 10% would live in a society closer to utopia. At the very least — the leftover 10% would have more opportunities, less starvation/homelessness, and an overall better quality of life. Not to mention — the planet would be better off. So here’s your prompt — what percentage of humanity do you think would have to disappear to create a better world? And how exactly would that percentage be determined? How do you decide what people to keep and which to eliminate in order to create a utopian society? THINK ABOUT THIS A LOT — there are a lot of factors that could potentially be included and no two of you will create the same society. Don’t forget — you need a percentage too — but I want to know how you determine factors of elimination to create the BEST society.
If you think I’m a terrible person right now — blame Blue Eyes.
