I'm glad you're noticing the red flags. Many parents would turn a blind eye toward it. While you're encouraging the girlfriend to speak up, which is good, she seems to need your help. I worry being from a broken home she may have low self-worth and therefore is settling for substandard behaviour from your son. You and his father need to set him straight.
