I'm a huge fan of the bachelor/bachelorette franchise and many long term marriages have occurred. One being the first bachelorette there ever was, whose marriage appears to still be going strong after twenty years and there are many more together for less but still a long time. But it's true, many more fail or never get passed the engagement phase.
