I can relate and am considerably younger than you.

…se days, was performing. Our older daughter drove us. Neither my wife nor I drive at night anymore. It’s a combination of slow reactions and not being able to see well in the dark, especially when encountering bright lights.

I can relate and am considerably younger than you. The lights on cars these days are so much brighter than in the past and many are on SUVs that sit much higher and glare into your rear view mirror. (Sigh.)
