Let’s face it. Huey’s adorable. Since adopting him two weeks ago, , he’s been a bundle of joy. I’d forgotten what kittens were into. Now I know. He’s into everything. Although his antics seem quirky, according to feline behaviorists, they’d likely say he’s normal.

1. Uses our legs as tree trunks. Nothing hurts more than feeling tiny nails prick through our clothing to give Huey leverage to reach high points. Oh, except when we’re not wearing any pants. That hurts more.

2. Uses our toilet as his personal swimming pool. It’s not that he’s gunning for a dunk, but his habit of racing onto things, and then slipping, makes it essential for us to keep the toilet lid down. Oops, sorry Huey. I sometimes forget.

3. Likes to nibble Ed’s facial hair. Everyone needs good sleep but it’s not always easy if you know someone’s watching you. Ed confesses to often opening his eyes to find Huey staring at him, while chewing on his moustache.

4. Has quirky bathroom habits. Whenever I clean his litterbox, he jumps in. Last night, after cleaning a clump of urine, he squatted and peed. Then as I cleared the rest of the box, he squatted and pooped. How great was that to gift me with…
