Full disclosure Brett, I'm horrifically afraid of death and you're such a brilliant writer, I skipped over that dream, but read the rest of your story. From others' comments and your own, it sounds like it was very traumatizing.

I love chocolate too. So much so, that when I began reading your story, it reminded me, and I grabbed a bar while reading the rest. I've never noticed it causing nightmares at night, but sometimes, if I eat it before bed, it keeps me awake.
