Day Nineteen: What/Who is the Most Important Constant in your Life?
It has to be “L.”
Without a doubt, my answer is “L.” This is my answer to Keeley’s prompt, “What’s the most important ‘Consonant’ in your life?” After all, we all know that’s really what she meant.
I tossed a lot last night and woke up with sleep in my eyes. Perhaps that’s why Keeley’s March Madness prompt looked a tad funny. Or am I looking for an excuse to add silliness to this response? Because Keeley, choosing one person over others who have left a mark is cruel. There are so many. I can’t choose only one.
But what if I highlighted their many attributes? Interestingly, these all begin with the letter L because my mother, children, and Ed embody “Love, Laughter, and Life.”
Those who know me have learned that I’m a deep thinker. I think far more than I should about everything — picking apart every thought — until anxiety sets in. It’s a never-ending cycle that has me reacting quickly. However, the loves of my life keep me grounded. In sickness and health, in good times and through bad times, their love is the one thing I can always count on. It is the most important constant in my life. I admit I’m one lucky gal.
