“So, let’s break this down. Chantal is Ray’s wife, but she’s doing Jesse’s bidding?”
Officer Stein looked at Raven for answers.
“Yes, the woman said Stan needed to pay the missing installment to Jesse.”
“What is she talking about?”
“It’s news to me,” Stan said. “I didn’t know they knew each other.”
“If Chantal is working with Jesse, how deep does their relationship go?”
“I never killed Julian. Officer Stein, I know it now. Did you know it too?”
The officer nodded.
Stan had assured Raven that he never laid a hand on Tyler.
“If he talks, can you cut him a deal?” Raven asked.
“Possibly. Stan, you’re lucky to have this young lady looking out for you. Tell me everything you know.”
