Barb, I can't answer your question as I've not come across a similar situation, but your ending is awesome. It gave me a belly chuckle. Perhaps one day, you'll do a review that does the book justice. Linda Caroll has a great pub for that. I can't think of the name off hand but if you're interested I'll look it up.
